Monday we thought it would be a good day to plant some new flowers so off to Lowe's we went! Madeline and Luke picked out several packets of seeds and we came home and got to it. We have been watching everyday and we are finally starting to see some green popping up through the mulch...yahoo! Again, we cooled off down at Grammy's and finished the day off with supper out at Aunt Ci-Ci and Uncle Cruiser's. They had just caught some swordfish and invited us out to share in the yummies! Thanks, it was delicious!
Tuesday we swam all morning and built trains in the afternoon because it was rainy! Some time spent at the Library produced many extra books to keep up with for Mama, but a new and exciting bedtime experience! We are missing our Daddy.
Wednesday, we went to the grocery store and the post office first thing. Always a good plan to have the errands out of the way early in our family! We kept to the inside for the better part of the day because of the weather. Puzzles, coloring, chalkboard writing, painting, cutting with scissors...you name it and we may have done it! My Sister also had a fun gift for us! We made cupcakes in the shape of ice cream cones and the frosting was piped on in the shape of soft serve ice cream! They were so much fun and delicious! Daddy will be home soon and because our day was slow, the children will be able to stay up and see him! We are very excited to have him home.
